Hey everyone, I just wanted to know what your reccomendations would be for a good soldering iron? I got a ColdHeat one for christmas and it doesn't work at all. Any suggestions? (price range 50-100$)

cold heats suck and dont work but i guess you know that now

should a made a which soldering iron i should get for xmas thread before.

edit* sorry any iron that doesnt get hot in an instant and cold in an instant is a good one...
im serious any normal one is just fine.

Weller makes great irons. I use one, it's never let me down (or my dad, as it was his for years before he gave it to me).

I've got a Weller as well. A newer one that I've had about a year now. No problems whatsoever. Love it.
