I am interested in picking up one of the Hagstrom Ultra Swede guitars but I have noticed something while performing my searches on the internet. The Ultra Swede guitars that I have seen have two different designations on the headstock. One version states "Ultra Swede" the other version states "Ultra SL-2".

Does anyone know the difference between these two versions?

I understand that Hagstrom also has the Select Ultra Swede but this one has different inlays. The two Ultra swede versions I have seen look identical and basically cost the same. So what is the difference?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Possibly different years with certain cosmetic differences?
