Otherside

Time passes by like the clouds in the sky
It seems one day your born and the next you die
Did you leave your mark on this world before you left it behind
Or will you be forgotten like some long lost dream

So here you are with all your debts due
Your family is by your side, their all here for you
It's never too late to make amends
Because love is all you got in the end

I will miss you til the end of my days
You can't take away the memories
I will live my life in honour of you
I will live my life the way you taught me to

I remmember all the nights we spent drinkin' til the sun came up
Those days were the best of times, Those days will be with me forever
Your gone now but your soul will live on
See you on the otherside...

This is absolutely beautiful, as long as it doesn't follow you main influence of punk when you set in music. I would feel an acoustic is best or a mellow guitar with a spacy feel put in. (spacey= flange, reverb, weird noises and white noise loops...iunno how to describe it)

A nice opening, everyone can relate to wanting to leave their mark on the world.

So here you are with all your debts due

This is where it starts to get confusing to me; Are you describing his funeral here?

I will miss you til the end of my days
You can't take away the memories
I will live my life in honour of you
I will live my life the way you taught me to

Not sure how I feel about the second line; I realize what you're trying to say, but it's coming off a bit wrong--what about saying something about the memories being with you forever maybe?

I remmember all the nights we spent drinkin' til the sun came up
Those days were the best of times, Those days will be with me forever
Your gone now but your soul will live on
See you on the otherside...

The outro really puts it all together, I enjoyed it, just a few lines here and there I think could be changed to clarify the story.
