I need help comparing these two guitars. They are both EC-1000's, but one is aobut 100 bucks more.

Im looking at the first one (STP - Purple and 100 bucks more) and also the VB (Vintage black with gold hardware). Ive played on the VB and it has this really nice feel on the back of the neck, its kind of like a brushed feel, really smooth. BUT, I love the purple look on the STP and I was wondering if its going to have that feel and also the other differences it may have.

Thanks!

They will probably be the same. The abalone and finish raise the price, thats all I'm pretty sure. AND +100 FOR THE PURPLE

Ebony feels different. I prefer it over rosewood. Gold hardware may wear down in time.
