Hello all,

I recently bought my first electric guitar, an Ibanez GRF170DX. I've been playing guitar for almost 10 years on and off, and this is the first electric I treat myself to.

Now that I have the axe, I now need an amp to go along with it. I need a practice amp, hopefully in the 100-200$ CAN price range, with good clean and distortion. Trying to get something that's fairly small, with the possibility of adding an effects pedal later.

I mostly play Metallica, Iron Maiden, The Haunted, as well as some Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, etc.

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!

I used a Fender Frontman 15 for my practice amp and it was pretty good
I got it for like $80 USD I think
I'm sure there's better though

MicroCube or Vypyr 15 for the stuff you play. Try them.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.
