I don't recommend passive pickups for any kind of blues tone. Ideally, you'd want a passive pickup with a reasonably low level of output.

Zunes are nice but they can only run on windows and have to run on it's own music player( I own one). I pods are great. Walkmans suck because all you can use it Windows Media Player. If all you need is 2 gigs then I wouldn't get any of the one's listed above.

If you want an amazing mp3 player get the iPod touch I'm on this with it right now If you want something simple you should get iPod nano if you want 8gb or more just a suggestion

i will say that ipods are popular more because hype/image than function, and zunes have very, very poor customer service(last time i tried calling, everything was fully automated, like the windows help center on my pc, needless to say it didn't help at all). i have heard good things about those zens though, maybe you should look into those.

don't get me wrong, i love my zune to death, which i have now had for a year with no issues whatsoever, but some people get bad luck with those. my friend just had his 6th one die on him only 1 week after getting it.

SanDisk Sansa Clip, around the same price point as the Creative players, but with far superior sound quality.

Overpriced, there are cheaper players with better sound quality

Cowon D2 or S9 = win, assuming you actual care about quality of sound.
