I was sick and in the hospital for a few days. I had an IV in my right arm and as a result my picking hand is extremely weak. It is especially hard for me to do the sweeping for motion for arpeggios, now. Any tips to strengthen my hands hands or warm them up before playing?

Firstly, leave it until you're completely sure your hand is healed.

Secondly, just play man; you'll get the strength back soon enough as long as you keep playing and make sure you don't try to overreach yourself.
