Hey UG. I've been a bass player for 6 months now and yesterday i decided i'd get a guitar as i've wanted both. I bought an Ibanez GRG in a metallic sort of red and a Marshall MG15CD, I just wanted to say even though i know literally nothing about guitar and my only playing knowledge on it is how to play a basic power chord, i am incredibly satisfied with my beginning gear and i'm sure my friends will be jealous . What is everyone else's opinion on the gear that i've got, out of curiosity? Thanks, Casey.

Be prepared for a million posts from people bashing on your amp.

If its just a practice amp, its perfectly fine.

NO NO NO!! YOU BOUGHT AN MG!!!

Actually, if you're just using it for practice, it's alright.
Did you know the odds of a Vault-Tec shelter failing are 1,763,497 to 1?

So imagine life in a Vault-Tec Vault. Not just a future.
A brighter future... underground.

Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

It seems UG guitarists hate the MG as much as UG bassists hate the Thunderbird... oh well, I think it's cool :P

Why didn't you ask us on what to buy before doing it?

Now you're stuck with a slightly overpriced practice amp!

The Ibanez you got should be alright but the MG will sound bad if you try to crank it like nearly every other solid state amp but this will sound even worse.

Muddy tone, bad upper fret access, massive neck dive. I don't mean to conform with the common hatred of it, but I played the Epi TBird and the $3500+ AUD Gibson Tbird and both sucked majorly. Though i must admit they look freakin' badass.
