The trem (and craftsmanship, imo) of the Ibanez are better, but I prefer the tone of the Jackson.
And yeah, it's a DK-2

I personally was let down when I get this guitar. Well, I did get mine off eBay.

Pups just didn't do it for me, and I get a weird popping sound when I dive bomb. :S

Aye its a DK2. Ignore what anyone says because its VASTLY superior to an RG series Ibanez - unless your is a prestige.

Ibanez RG570EX = Prestige range

I have a DK1, the things amazing... NOTHING can rival a USA Jackson... NOTHING!
and the popping sound is probably strings hitting the magnetic pole pieces. The pickups will attract the strings and when they touch you get a 'pop'

Lol, sorry. I know that's not the problem. It's more of a cracking sound from my neck.

The DK-2 is Japanese-made though.

DK2, made in Japan, older one. I would skip it, as it is probably not worth more than $300-$350 on the open market anyway. and even if that is close to what the Ibby is worth, the Ibanez is a superior guitar in this case anyway.
