I was just wondering, I found a review on a Fender Tele, and someone used the following phrasing, "Setup wasn't perfect (but who uses 9s on a tele anyway?). Did the setup and put on 11s and its spot on now..." Can anyone tell me what 9's and 11's refers to??

9s are a light gauge, whereas 11s are considerable heavier. Typically, light strings have reduced tension, making bending easier. On the other hand, many people prefer the thicker tone of higher gauges
