Incredibly atmospheric and heavy shoegazey/ambient stuff, with influences coming from all over. Deathconciousness is one of my favorite releases of 2008, melodic, droning, and crushing all at the same time, definitely give 'em a listen.

It's awesome, especially the third to last song on the disc. Giles Corey's S/T, I mean, though Deathconsciousness was (mostly) great too.

EDIT: Thought it was the last song for some reason. But yeah. No One Is Ever Going to Want Me is amazing.

Giles Corey was not better. Emotionally draining and raw? You bet.

Nowhere near as good as Deathconsciousness.

It's close for me. No One is Ever Going to Want Me almost merits Giles Corey over these guys alone, but Deathconsciousness is more consistent.

Both are great though.

Let's just leave it there.

Dan Barrett cannot be stopped.
