Well UGers, it's been over a year since my last post in this forum, and to be honest, I haven't been doing much writing :/

However, here is an pop rock song I've been working on. I'm really not sure about the synth lines, but really they're just placeholders at the moment.

I'll be sure to crit you back, just leave a link =]

Great song! It was simple but that's how pop rock should be. The synth stuff was really good, leave it in! It made the song really fun to listen to. I would let a guitar play the synth solo though, would sound a little less cheesy.
Overall there's nothing really bad to say about it. Slap on a few cool vocal harmonies and you've got yourself a genuine hit song!

hi

thx again for the crit

the song starts out nice, i like the strings.
the verse is really catchy and upbeat, that's good for a pop song!
i like the chorus too., but it misses something yet i can't seem to point out what it is.
but the best part imo is the interlude, i love the string work there..

I agree with two comments higher up, that the solo should be played by a guitar.. it really does sound cheesy.

i would revamp the percussion, because i think it is a bit boring.

overall, it's not bad at all but there could be a bit more variation.
but then again.. i'm not really into that kind of music.
