I'm trying to record on Cubase SX3 using guitar rig and an M-audio Fast track as an interface. The output from the interface is sounding as set up from guitar rig but when I record the guitar sounds clean. Any ideas?

Thanks people and all the best!

You need to use the VST Guitar Rig on the clean recorded track, and bounce it on another track.... I don't know if you understood me but still.

to be honest not really lol. Is it the problem with guitar rig or cubase?

Its not a problem that's normal. Basically you are hearing your signal with effects and stuff, but cubase doesn't, so it records it clean.

So what you need to do is load the VST plugin of Guitar Rig in cubase and add effects to that track you recorded clean, and rerecord it on another track. That means when you add the effects, you need to make another track that will be taking the sound produced by your first track (the one that has effects) and record it again.
