I don't know what genre it is also.. but who cares, its good. You could change the tapping at bar 52 coz to me it sounds kinda random... dunno. Other than that the song is awesome.

Intro was really quite cool, and it fit the 5/4 perfectly.

9-15 tapping was ok, it fit pretty well.

17-36 (not including 25-28) is a pretty cool part. I'm not to sure about those four bars, 25-28 though. They don't really fit, imho.

Pretty generic riff leading to the breakdown. But it was good on the ears. Standard breakdown, nothing special there (not that you need anything special there)

52-54 killed it. It didn't fit.

64-71 - Maybe turn the tremolo off on those?

Everything you built up with the cool clean line, you destroyed with the sweeps. I would take them out. Keep the part from 91-102 though.

108 onwards is awesome, I love that chorus riff. However, a lot of your scalic lead guitar is out of key, and clashes with the chord. You shoud fix that.

Overall 6/10.

thx alot for the honest and very complete feedback
can you tell me where i go wrong with the scalic lead guitar? i'm quite new to the theory; so a few pointers might be nice.
i guess i will do something about the tapping part..

i'll check out your song

91 to the end was the best part imo.

i think you should make the whole song sound more like that.

and get rid of the clean sweeps at 83-90, they sounded way out of place.

and what happened to the bass?! keep it going man, it helps make the piece sound fuller.

theres more, but im not going to be a nazi about it

basically, i think you should tweak the song in the beginning to match the end.

that is, if you are going for a post hardcore sound.

its good though man! 7/10

thx man!
yeah, i did start the bass but did not have any time to finish it yet..
i'm not really going for a post hardcore sound(what is that anyway?) just didn't what genre it was.

anyway i'll see what i can do about the sweeping and the tapping part.

it's good to get some feedback!
thx alot dudes!

124 - you're playing a Bm6 arpeggio over a D2 chord, which clashes a fair bit.

Just look at the chord you're arpeggating and try and match it with the chord the other guitar is playing.

I liked the song quite a bit, it was... different. I don't really know how to describe it but it wasn't your usual metal. S'good, stood out from the crowd.

Some of the parts seemed a little too odd for my liking, I don't recall exactly what, but when listening I found bits where I thought: "Eh?!". Not good, unless you're going for that effect, in which case well done.

Nice song, I liked the ending as well. Cheery sides to songs are always nice, if used well/in moderation.

7/10 i'd say.

the intro was ok, but i say put more rhythmic variation in it if you know what i say.
the tapping after this was ok, from bar 17 to 24 it was really good, altough i'd like to hear a stronger breakdown here. from here , until the tapping part, it was ok. i didnt like the tapping, it sounded out of place.
i say, throw the clean part to the rubbish, it doesnt fits there, or change it.
but, the interlude after it is so epic, i really loved it! the sweep solo was sick man.. also great for outro.
overall, its a good work 8/10

i'd put it in a melodic genre... im not so sure about it, because you often use punk elements, but the tapping and clean parts are more progressive- also, there is a massive breakdown that 'll goes to hardcore/metalcore.
so i dunno
