Theory theory theory.

No no no.

I usually tell my students to wait until they have at least a year and a half's experience with the guitar before starting theory. Theory really helps with composing and understanding music, but it kills the begginer's mind.

Dude, I don't know what you're doing, but what I'm doing is trying to help a budding musician. Why don't you go to the pit where smart asses like you belong.

Agreed. This isn't The Pit and 'fap' isn't a valid response. Be helpful or don't post.

TS, don't worry about 'next' just yet. There's a whole lot in the list you gave, and I doubt you have every single one of those techniques down to the point that you can move on. Practice what you know and make sure that everything you play is good and solid every time you play it. Guitar isn't a race, don't be in a rush to get to 'the next thing'.
