Ive been playing a lot of hardcore heavy stuff like hatebreed, terror ect.. I cant seem to get the right tone for hatebreed. Im tuned right n **** it just doesnt sound right..somones gotta know the secret!

They play high-watt high-gain amps; Marshall TSL 100's I believe. What amp are you playing through?

Practice. It's no secret.

Seriously, you can toy with your amp/pedals all you want, but your fingers have to generate the tone first and foremost. How you fret, how you pick, how you move between notes, it all dictates how the sound comes out. Get on your clean channel and make those notes sound agressive without the distortion. When you switch back they should be knocking you out of your socks.

Im playing through a line 6 spider 3 75w so i know i can get the sound

and im muting and everything correctly its just something needs to be tweaked and idk wat
