I would avoid the gio Ibanez's but out of the ones you listed I would go with the GSA60 based on looks.

Yes, because obviously looks are what matter.

I'd probably avoid the Gio series as well, but between those, go with the GRG170DX. Having two humbuckers and a single coil in the center offers a lot of versatility, which is what you need when you're beginning, since you won't know what style you're going to settle down in.

If you aren't just beginning, sorry. I just assumed because you're looking at a Gio.

I know looks aren't what matter. I just went with a decision based on looks because of all of the guitars he listed none are going to be substantially better than the other. And there isn't anyway I'd be able to touch or hear any of the guitars at the moment.

I would avoid any non-locking tremolo and small scale necks.

Two have non-locking tremolos and the micro is a small scale guitar.

If you're looking at Ibanez in the $200-300 range, I'd suggest these:

A fixed bridge is much easier to keep tuned than a non-locking tremolo.

Why would you want a microRG? Thats just... pointles, unles you are like 4feet high. From the ones you suggested i would go with the GRG170. It was my first electric, and it served me realy well. It plays really good, and it doesnt sound that bad, and as said above, the three pickups give you much more tonal options. The floating bridge didnt give me any big problems, and you can always simply block it with a piece of wood. Just dont do 7 divebombs in a row and you wont get out of tune. Damn, i wish i stil had that guitar...
