For Christmas, he got Tiger Woods PGA tour 07 for the PS2

Now, he spends all his free time playin it in my room.

Any one else's parents get addicted to technology?

EDIT: He keeps yelling at the controller for not turning in the ball direction he wants it to

*waits for someone to mention their mom and vibrators*

edit:

And just not to be the douche that doesn't actually contribute to the thread, my dad loves video games. Back in the day when I had Sega Genesis he would sit and play 2-player games with me all the time.

Spending your free time doing something is not an addiction. You've obviously never SEEN video game addiction, it's not a joke at all. They did an episode of Intervention on this kid who thought he WAS Max Payne.

My dad beat the original Command and Conquer, Red Alert, Close Combat, and many other classic PC titles. (Mostly Strategy games)

But now all he does is play Madden 05 every free second he gets.

He maxed out however many years you can play a franchise like 10 times now...

Oh! and he beat all of Roller Coaster Tycoon within a week.

His mega Park ran for 40 years once without going into debt.

EDIT: And the only FPS he ever played was when he beat Medal of Honor: Frontline on my Gamecube in a matter of nights.
Says he can't play them now though,
he won't stop complaining about how he can't see anything...
Blindfolds aside I'd probably still close my eyes

And try to feel a trembling fetal life inside
that shotgun barrel that's about to make me bleed

Like an ulcer in the stomach of the beast

You're dad is a noob.

My dad bought the Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3 the morning that each came out. He's gone through several Rock Band drum kits (we got an Ion drum kit for Christmas). There are two DS lites in this house. Several Wiimotes. He constantly buys and trades games and builds up credit (that was how he paid for our PS3).

My dad used to play the original Super Mario game for Gameboy color all the time and my mom used to always play Tetris. She actually got the tetris effect where like everytime you close your eyes you see falling Tetris blocks.

Hell yah dude loved road rash. also had like every sonic game made for that thing.

My mum loves pretty old games such as the Sonic series, Kurushi, Road Rash and Super Monkey Ball. My dad, he's a Tetris whore. All he plays are puzzle games.
#29
My dad is definitely something of a gamer. He's pretty hardcore into this older game called Heretic II (Pretty good game, if anyone remembers it.)

He also plays a lot of FPS's for PS3 online with my uncle.
#31
not my parents personally, but my uncle used to be a Doom champion and turned me onto it. he doesn't play FPS's anymore, he likes RTS's now.

my mum is addicted to her GPS because she doesn't know how to get anywhere outside of our city.
