... okay here's the deal.

I'm basically a complete retard when it comes to theory and don't have a clue about anything. However I've come up with what I think are a few pretty good riffs and things. Basically I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about them. Like what chords would be used with them... what scale (if any) they're in and so on.

They're all standard (EADGBE) tuning.

I'd appreciate any help.

First one is E Minor. Chords for that are Em, F#dim, G, Am, Bm (or B), C, D. The second one looks like C Major, but you have the 7th fret on the B, so it has an accidental. Still would call it C Major. Chords for that are C, Dm, Em, F, G, Am, Bdim. The last one is in D Minor. Chords are Dm, Edim, F, Gm, Am, Bb, C.

With that said, I recommend looking at this article series and learning to do this yourself.

been looking for somewhere to learn it myself for ages but couldn't find anything decent.

Heres something I did for you just for ideas and because I was bored.
I have no clue how this went orrig. so I just kinda put all the tabs on one GP5 / midi file for you to listen to.

Hope this helps in some way, it was fun to make.
