Slumdog Millionaire.

Didn't get all the marketing attention other films did, but it was certainly OUTSTANDING!!!

This year was so so for movies.... The dark knight was the only real movie that came out that was huge.

I dont get how something thats true can somehow be a cliche. The dark knight was a fantastic movie.

Id say DK or Harold and kumar #2, Both fantastic movies, but completely different genres so you cants really compar them

In Bruges.

The Dark Knight was good, but little things about it annoyed me. I couldn't find a flaw in In Bruges.

It wasn't exactly a big movie but I'm so glad I saw it.

While The Dark Knight was as good as it gets for a Batman movie, it wasn't necessarily spectacular. The plot has nothing on classic films, and the acting wasn't exactly impossible. Heath Ledger was no better than Jack Nicholson, his role was simply different.

This year was kind of a letdown after the awesomeness of last year. My choice at the moment is Burn After Reading, but I still have yet to see Milk, Doubt, and Benjamin Button so this pick is only temporary.
