Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I am looking for some decent websites with free backing tracks to help with improvising, I am looking for stuff like blues, metal, or rock backing tracks with no lead guitar. What site should I use? Thanks in advance guys.

Hmm, a quick google should help you out?
Having said that, I have used guitarbt.com quite a lot often. Especially if you're looking for backing tracks for songs. Check it out though, might have something you're looking for.

Do you have Guitar Pro? It's great for making your own progressions. I could send you some of mine if you have guitar pro.

Also, http://www.guitarshredshow.com has all the 7 modes in some kind of game, so you can just take your guitar and play with it or even learn his licks.
