it was just something i wanted to work on. It's still sort of rough, but I kind of want some help with the whole structuring process of creating solos. My clip just seems too straight forward.

Try some classical music and listen how intensity, pitch and overall dynamics affect the music's emotion/vibe/whatever you'd call it.

The wrongest idea of soloing is rattling notes in fitting scales over a fitting progression, feel the thing, even the dumbest pentatonic scale could turn into a great thing, just think about jimi hendrix, the core of his solos are all from pretty basic pentatonic patterns, with added crazyness I'll admit, but still, you get the idea...
