pirate metal is basically power metal with scottish drinking overtones

at least alestorm is

you know, they're technically alone in that genre, so it kinda goes hand in hand

It sounds like Lots of mids and Moderate highs. (EQ)
But the sound is really in your hands. Litteraly.
I know that sounds like some cliche' guitarist thing to say but its true.

Battleheart is Alestorms old name btw

Uh, it's just the majority of the crunch is lost in the mix so it sounds nice.

Also, Alestorm is amazing.
I don't remember where I was,
When I realized life was a game.
The more seriously I took things,
The harder the rules became.

I'd call Leprechaun folk metal, but hell, any of those bands could be grouped with folk metal. Plus, Battleheart and Alestorm are the same band. Anyway, those bands are very unique in their sound.

People come up with the dumbest names for sexual acts. And the most disgusting concepts for sexual acts.

I'm tempted to report this thread because of how weird this is getting.

And well yes, I'll enjoy the carpal tunnel and tendonitis, because trying to get one is clearly smarter than any word you have spoken thus far.
