ALright.
It's come down to this. For the metal Crunch I need at quality and an affordable price, an Epiphone G-400 or Agile Dauntless with EMG's?

Agile easily. Even tho the pickups are HZs, you should have an easy time getting a good sound. And you can always change out the pickups.

Ive never tried the agile, but I have an epiphone g-400. and I love mine!

See that's the problem everybody says both guitars are great. Is there anybody who's played both?

Well I already have some real low end Gibson les paul ( got it around 120 with no pickguard, only 2 knobs vol. and tone, and the selector switch was at the bottom where the knobs were, but it was a gibson guitar), so i was lookin at SG's, but i REALLY like les pauls cuz none of my friends have em and the warm tone is really nice.
