Upgrade that comp if you're gonna buy it. Go for the 8800GT or 8800GTS instead of the 9600GT. The price difference is negligible and the performance difference will be huge. Or if you really want to go balls out, get a pair of 8800GTSs and SLI them.

EDIT: With that said, I say guitar, but that's just me.

I'm not sure I understand how the 8800GT or GTS is any better than the 9600GT. Care to explain? (I had my friend help a LOT with getting those parts together, so I don't know too much. I just see that the memory is higher)

Here's a link with benchmarks on a whole slew of games using the 8 and 9 series. The 8800GT and GTS outperforms the 9600GT in almost all of them. However, I don't know if that difference is enough to justify springing for a more expensive card for you.

Now that I'm looking at it, you could actually get a pair of 9600GTs for barely any more than an 8800 and it would outperform them. But really it all comes down to preference. A 9600GT will be able to handle most everything you throw at it, bar Crysis, Warhead, FC2, etc., but even those you should get very decent frames. It all depends if a boost in frames is worth the extra cash to throw down.
