Im looking for an amp with a really good distortion channel, some effects and is 30 watts. My style is pretty much metal/ classic rock so any amp that suits this is fine. Any suggestions?

Maybe a Peavey Vypyr or a Vox Valvetronix. Or you could save up to get a better amp in the future

Peavey Vypyr 30w if they have all the problems sorted out, which I think they may have done with the latest update.
Gibson Les Paul Studio with Catswhiskers pickups
PRS SE 'Floyd' Custom 24 with Creamery pickups
Fender Standard Stratocaster with DiMarzio pickups
Takamine GN30

yea not anything too good for $200-$300 save up and get a half stack or sumfin like dat

No. Solid State Half Stack=Fail.
If your gonna save up get a tube combo.

If you want a cheap tube, look at the Crate Palomino, the 50W is $350 from GC if im not mistaken.

EDIT: Oh ****, NVM, get the Vypyr if you want FX.

Also, I've tried the Valvetronix, and its not too great for metal.

Nice for classic rock and stuff tho.

Just so you know, I read everything you type in a Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs voice.

I mean in Kyle's case, it is in the best interest of mankind that he impregnate anything that looks at him funny...
