Is it just a regular six string with a cool body?

EDIT: Wtf no headstock?

Wow nice, I wouldn't do much with it, steinberger headless bridge systems are pretty cool. I dont know much about them though.. looks like there isn't much to be done.

Turn it into a flying-V!

I wish Steinberger would make V. Also, more leftys! A Lefty Demon would be SWEET!

How it the sustain on that thing? I can imagine with the small amount of body wood and lack of a headstock would really kill the sustain.

I'd sell it to buy somthing cooler. or maybe put some shiny pickups in there, yes it matters. You should put lace alumitones in it.

lol second time i've heard that, why should i go with thos? and not lets say EMGs?

Get some Barkenuckle pickups , depending on what style of music you use , Nailbombs for incredible clean sounds and War Pigs for rock/heavy metal.

And don't install a Fernandes Sustainer in it , you'd have to route the cavity a bit for it to fit , and it'd be a shame to desacrate a Steinberger like that.

Sell it , buy a B.C Rich and **** that **** up.

sell it

i miss interpreted the title so badly. yet still came here, shame on me

I'd say just polish it up and new pickups, that's not really a guitar you want to mod... Oh so sexy

Anyone else see the irony in smashing a guitar that says "peace and love" ?

Change the finish... Black looks terrible on that thing, not to mention you can see all the fingerprints and stuff.

Maybe hot pink? That would be smexy

Or like a lime green. THAT would look wicked.
#26
White finish.
Gold Hardware.
New pups.

OR you could do the unthinkable...NOTHING!

except for gold pickup covers...

i removed the middle pickup, added a 3 way selector switch, removed the tone knob and moved away from the bridge, and when i feel like it ill add an EMG-PA2 as a boost in the hole near the bridge.

like the end of bill and ted's exellent adventure

that'd be a dead easy mod you could just glue two wings to the body haha.

Id make it into a Flying V or something else like it. A Steinberger Flying V is an easy mod, and would look cool. The slip-in body idea is kinda cool, but idk if id wanna do that. Definately switch out the electronics, maybe refinish it.

Start making slip-in bodies for it so VOILA you can turn it into an SG, then with about 20 seconds, BANG its a flying V.

Steinberger made mini-flyingV's in the 90's: The GLP's and the first generation spirits had more V-like wings. A slip in body sounds like a sweet idea too.

TBH, id sell it, since in my opinion it looks ugly. But hey, if you like it, keep it! Maybe change the pickups.
