I kinda wanna coat the grille cloth on my Marshall 1960A cab with white spay paint, anybody got any pictures of that sort of thing?

that costs money my friend.. + I can't find any white grill cloths, they are all light grey/silver

I wouldn't spray paint it. Maybe take it off and try to bleach it or something?

that's different from spray painting, spray paint will 1) flake 2) make the grill cloth stiff which will affect the high end response of the cabinet.

that's why I would very lightly coat it.. but if even that would mess the tone up, then nm

maybe I'll just go vintage and get a wheat cloth, those are fun too U_U

Well, technically, that would also affect the tone, a stiffer grill cloth cuts the highs a little. Unless you're talking about the same grill cloth material, but different color. My 1960B has a wheat basketweave cloth. I really like the look, very vintage looking.
