I have just ordered an active pickup for the bridge position - HSH set up.

All the wiring diagrams I've seen have been for a 2-active set up.
Is it possible to wire in only the bridge as active, yet still use the neck pickup?

99% of the time I use the bridge anyway so it wouldn't be a total disaster to lose the neck as single coil anyway...

Yes you can, but the non-active pickups will sound very bad. They use 250k or 500k pots, but actives use 25k.

Ah yes...forgot about that.

Well, like I say this guitar spends it's entire life in the bridge position at the moment anyway.

Cheers!

One other thing - the 25k pot should be "A" or "B" type taper?
