can anyone recommend a good solid state amp that doesn't have any modelling effects or anything like that?
It needs to be pretty loud and i'm not concerned about the price.
Please help!

Roland JC-120. Hands down the cleanest SS amp you'll ever hear. Crazy loud too.

How do you intend to use it though? What genres do you play? You're going to need pedals for distortion etc. if you're going to play metal or something...

Just out of interest, why do you want it solid state yet loud at the same time?

That's obvious. Solid states sound like crap if you crank them higher than their rated wattage... So if you want a good sounding solid state amp at higher volumes, it's going to need lots of headroom.

Jazz Chorus, either the 120 or the 77, depending on how big and loud you want it. Cleanest amp ive ever played on, it tops Marshall, Orange, any of the big guns.
'07 MIM Strat
Maple Neck
Black Finish
Black Pickguard
Black EMG SA set
Planet Waves Locking Tuners

Roland JC-77 Jazz Chorus

Boss PW-2 Power Driver
