I thought this would be intresting. I have to say Kiss. At the time it was the most intense thing ever, now looking back, they sold out in the worst possible way. They did a disco hit, had there own tv show and sold there own action figures!!

Have you been watching "Heavy: The story of metal" on mtv2?

That programme was the biggest pile of fail I have ever laid my eyes up. It was truly terrible.

Well, what ever bands were cool last year and now aren't is my answer.

When I was 15 (5 years ago) I loved all the hard rock bands out there, breaking benjamin, nickelback, seether, etc. Now I can of can't stand the genre lol
#17
Yeah, they've both been said (wow O_o) but when I was like, idk, 10 or 11, I thought Linkin Park were the best thing since sliced bread. Then when I was like 12 I thought I was emo and thought that listening to Green Day made me cool.

I want to bury and kill my old self >: (

It was alright. They blagged on a bit about certain bands and eras.

I thought it was good actually.....except when they called Led Zep metal...

I am 15, but i used to be big into the All American Rejects a couple of years ago.....my god, what was i doing??

I watched that Heavy: The Story of Metal thing. I thought it was cheesy as hell and they slagged off too many good bands and passed them off as glam, like Motley Crue or Quiet Riot. The people who made that documentary should really dig out their copies of Shout At The Devil and Metal Health and give them another listen.

Ill agree about black metal. It used to be the truest genre you could find. But now they have all sold out: Darkthrone, Mayhem, Gorgoroth, Immortal .... RIP

Trivium, they're still listenable now (17) but I used to worship them. Then I found people who can solo with a meaning to it.

Bad Religion, again still OK but there's a hell of a lot better out there.

Dare I say it, but I almost liked St. Anger when I was 14 (I think?)... right down to the drums.

A Typical 15 Year Old Reply Hehe, No now dont fight back atleast, and I the serious and honest reply now, METALLICA, damn I think there last two albums are equally bad compared to the greatness of their first 4 albums. I thought Linkin Park was the BAND, like gods, that was when I was 14, now I cant stand their name.
#37
I am 15. But when I was 10-11 i was still listening to most of the same stuff I listen to now, Rammstein, System of a down, Korn, Disturbed, The offspring (were and still are my favourite band ) but now I listen to a lot more genres, lots more hardcore, some pop-punk, punk, all sorts of stuff

EDIT: Yea and I listened to a ****LOAD of pink floyd, my teacher just stared at me like when I walked into class wearing a Pink Floyd animals tshirt one day in grade six...I answered "what? pink floyds awesome..." teacher: "Do you really listen to them?" me: "I've got like 6 albums by them" more
