The ones with the colored pickups look stupid ...but the others look nice...especially the RG models
#8
besides for maybe the Steve Vai one, the RG3550MZ are the best looking ones on there.in my opinion at least.

If that's all they've got coming I would feel very let down w/ no 7's or 8's....

I don't think that's all. I've been watching the Ibanez boards, and apparently there's a maple-board seven stringer coming, but the pics haven't been released yet IIRC.
#10
i love that they are bringing back the 80s looking rgs! in need one

Yawn... same RGs, but no new pretty colors this year Those ones with Yellow pickups make me eyes bleed. the Tight End bridge looks interesting, but a hard tail is a hard tail... The RG3550MZs look nice, though the pickups look kind of cheap to me since they are not chromed ones, which would go better with the theme.
#16
The PGM401 does not look real, unless pickup selectors usually go ontop of F-holes.
Otherwise some great looking colours.
it's all just coming back
it's all coming back

it's all coming back to me

Few more thing i forgot to add.

- The Ibanez Tight End bridge is the same with the FR1620 prestige bridge. You can have a look at it at Ibanez's website.
- 7 stringers don't be disappointed, 7 string maple RG probably being released and also a H-S 7 string xiphos.
- Ibanez PGM-Fireman ("Possible model", i cant clarify)

- Ibanez S100SPL Hoshino 100th Anniversary Model. Only 15 piece worldwide

They f-holes are painted on. Paul Gilbert always had painted F-holes on his signatures (apart from that weird reverse Iceman)
#19
Ah? That's...really weird then. I have to say, I would not like a guitar with F-Holes painted on.
If they actually do release a Fireman that may be the one Ibanez I'll ever buy.

Oh lord, I just came.
Any idea how much the RG3550MZ will cost? If it isn't too much, screw the Jackson, I'm getting that thing in ROM

I tried it out in store.

Great neck, nice n light, good tuning stability. Overall a good guitar. I didn't but it cause I generally only buy guitars over a grand now.

I believe I just threw up everywhere.

Not one of them appeals to me.

If you want an HSS guitar then get a Jackson Soloist or DK2/DK2S dinky ._.

The soloist has no neck joint, a Floyd Rose tremolo and a very thin neck, as well.

And the dinky, while not all-access, has a countoured heel.

Just sayin'.

When I saw PG in Glasgow, he used an incredibly similar looking guitar. So... I bet it's real!

And yes, the pickup selector does go on the F holes.

I'm cumming all over the place, I lurv ze mapleness! Nice one Ibanez! But since there is a 7 string version coming... I'm cumming even more!

soloist (SL3) is neck thru and has a relatively crap floyd rose. just don't want a neck thru guitar and the dinky has a crappy contoured heel.

I like the playability of Ibanez's but want the HSS pickup config.

Everybody should listen to me and to cater to my every whim.

What is the Super Wizard neck? Is it thinner or thicker than a Wizard II or a Wizard Prestige?

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

I can't stand the yellow pickups and knobs but I do like the SV5470A - BKD (Black Blonde)
. Very similar to my S2170SE Prestige (although not quite as sick in my opinion). I wish they would put one of those color schemes on an S series with a FIXED bridge. Screw these damn Floyd Rose setups.

ALL THOSE GUITARS LOOK SO EPIC.......... Ibanez has done it again, you can't go wrong with Ibanez
