I don't really think I'll buy a lot in the next year, apart from my Spector arriving on the 1st or 2nd ( ). I'll be saving up for a new amp, probably some sort of half stack, this year, and might have enough money for it by Christmas time. But that's about it. Who knows, if I do get a decent rig by the end of the year, I may consider doing a UROTM.

So, I ask thee, the Bass Forum, how do you see your gear/rig changing in 2009?

Well. I'm probably going to sell off most of my guitars, possibly only keeping my RG321 and VOX, aswell as my crappy acoustic. With that money, I'm probably going to buy myself a six string bass. Other than that, I dream of saving up for an EBS TD650, but yeah... As if that's gonna happen

I'll have a 410 cab for my MAG 300 210 combo.

I suppose that makes a 3/4 stack.

Well, I have a Fretless J-bass as my main axe along with my Ibanez 5-er. Looking into purchasing a used full stack from a guy off craigslist, also if I can I'd love to add a Stingray.

Unless the basic economic pretexts of my home change, most likely a new pedal for the blues group and thats about it.
#18
Now that I have my halfstack I'm gonna focus on getting a Fender American P-Bass.
#19
Getting myself a rig and selling an amp, probably.

As anarkee stated its hard for the moment to get some gear with the economy.

I'll be adding a new bass to the collection. I'll also most likely be replacing the crappy starter kit bass amp, and perhaps adding a few more pedals to the collection.

The only problem is that the right horn is bigger than the left which is bound to conjer up some ballance problems.

Two main things: For Christmas a Peavey 115 cab and a Tour 700 head, but it hasn't come yet( ) so that'll be coming in 09. Also, I'm planning on picking up a Squier Jazz from a friend that I'll defret.

And just maybe, I'd like to make a bass. P bass body, Jazz neck, QP's, sparkly green finish.

Getting a Gallien-Krueger 1001-RBII and a Neo 410 cab is my big thing right now. I'd also like to throw a Tech 21 Sansamp RBI in there, since my Schecter lends itself so beautifully to overdrive.

Hopefully I can get a half stack of ANY kind, instead of using my little practice amp at home, then using a friend's behringer 8x10 :[

I foresee a Bassman 250 in 2009.

About two months after I bought my Rumble 100, GC had one used for $225.

I could save up and get a bongo by the end of the year OR I could save up and buy a nice stack in place of my Line 6 Low down...

I think I'll have to buy a new amp...

If I get some money, it'll maybe be a WP-100 into my Gearing Electronics Power Amp into a 4x10 and a 1x15.

Oh, and a CGi 4 string, 4string fretless and 6string.

But we'll have to see

A pedalboard, a RAT and well, I got a delay the other week if it counts.

I'm hoping I can get a bigger amp too.

Well my Ashdown cab arrived yesterday, and I'm picking up my head today.

By the end of 2009 I'm hoping for a 210 115 stack, a rackmount tuner or some pedals

That would be amazing. The balance shouldn't be too bad, either.

I'm planning on building a pedal board, getting a 115, adding a Peavey T-40 to the herd, and probably modding my SX a bit. Black pickguards look much cooler on 3TS than white ones.
Nope, no sig here.

my gear probably won't change unless I find a bargain or I move out.

If I move out I'll be downsizing to a 112 and selling the Sterling and Geddy for a Stingray.
