Hey ya'll. This might be the Baileys talking, but I think it's finally time I came clean and said it: I'm not such a big fan of MUSE. Or Dream Theatre. Or Led Zepplin.

BUT WAIT! SAVE YOUR TORCHES FOR ANOTHER TIME!

You see, I've always wanted to ask this, and now that I've outed myself, I have the freedom to do so...

A few years back, shortly after Black Holes and Revelations was released, I went on Wikipedia to get a sort of bluffing guide to MUSE. Cause, y'know, not knowing all about MUSE is like not knowing all about Radiohead. Whom I also know nothing about.

Now, while reading, I discovered that every song and every album by MUSE so far has been an piece in an intricate puzzle, and even now, as I'm typing, I realise it makes no sense. But hey, stick with it.

All I remember of the explaination I read of the MUSE puzzle, was that it involved a 'fibonacci sequence' and a number-letter swapping code thing.

Can anyone elaborate on what it is?

Or Dream Theatre. Or Led Zepplin.

Nice typos!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibbonaci_Series

^^^ That will help you

EDIT:
The first number of the sequence is 0, the second number is 1, and each subsequent number is equal to the sum of the previous two numbers of the sequence itself, yielding the sequence 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, etc.

This is as close to Baileys as you can get without your eyes getting wet.

OK, here's moar I can recall: you were supposed to take the track listing of one of the albums, and put the songs in order by the sequence they appear in a that ratio thing you guy's posted, but you had to go by the first digit...or something. T___T

I think it worked like (I am making these numbers up, so, y'know, don't hit me...)

If 19420470923 was the first time 7 appears as the 7th digit in the code, then it becomes the 3rd track in this reordered playlist.

...and yeah, I'm aware of how crazy this is. It's new years, and I had an entire bottle of Irish Creme Liquer to myself. What would YOU have done?

Maybe we should just say that Muse are trippers and how on earth do they expect mere mortals to work out this complex mathematics, especially mortals who seem to of had a lot of Baileys!

This seems to be the type of Tool would do.

And have missed out on something? What the heck is this whole baileys thing?

About the Baileys thing: it's from an episode of the Mighty Boosh, the one with Old Gregg.

I know Tool based a song off this sequence, now that I know it's name. I'll go Wiki it...
