ehhh.....,shouldn't be too bad, im just not to fussed on the pattern.

Hz's are tolerable but nothing amazing, but they will sound crap through a bad amp

i'm never for buying signature guitars (personally i think it's corny and a waste as they're always overpriced) but as a guy above said, if it's what you want and you have a decent amp go for it.
i used to be a mod, then i took an arrow in the knee.

EMG's are terribly limited tone wise

The 81/85/60 can be, Hz's are more versatile IMO, but not standouts in any one area

So would a strat sound better? Ive only been playin for a couple months on acoustic so you guys need to tell me what kind of pickups are the best and what to look for, i was gonna go for a F-Strat if this one was a no no

what kind of music are you trying to play ?

ive played the zakk wylde. my favorite used to have it but the thing is that it plays really nice and it does sound really nice and the hz's are pretty versatile.

well to help you with that we need to know 2 things:
-your budget for guitar and amp
-the styles of music you want to play

Dont want to spend more than 800 and i was gonna buy a microcube to start off with because there portable and cheap and good. And i like RHCP, The Killers and Coldplay. And i like fingerstylin. I wanted a Strat Because thats what John Frusciante uses. Is a strats pickups better than the above guitar?

the cube is a good little practice amp so thats fine, and the strat i listed above would be a good bet

so would a place like guitar center have a strat like that? Whats the main component that im looking for? Do all Strats have the same pickups?

Well, some have tex-mex, some have noiseless pickups, it depends on what model strat...
Gibson Les Paul Traditional
Crate V33 212 Combo
DigiTech Whammy IV
Dunlop Crybaby
MXR Classic Distortion
Ibanez DE-7 Delay
Boss GE-7 Equalizer

GC should have one like that. The main component of your sound would be your amp.

Here's Another good combination i found, which wouldn't be bad for you

I don't like EMG's, and I don't like ZW(He's trying to be an RR clone IMO), so I wouldn't, but if you play a lot of metal, it's good.
