Alrighty Pit, I need help.

I have a Line 6 Toneport UX2 and I wanna record thru it, but I don't wanna use the shitty program they give you (in reality it's probably quite a good program but I can't be bothered to learn how to use it) so I'm trying to use Audacity.

Problem is, I can't switch the mic/stereo/mono/other source of sound thing (it's to the right of the input and output volume) to mono/stereo so I can record what is playing on the computer, not with the laptop mic, but what is running thru the computer.

If that makes any sense...

I'm on a Dell Inspiron 1525 with Vista (assholes...) if it matters.

Please help
Change is good.

or go into edit / prefrences

and change your recording input
you have to find out where you can import through a "stereo mix" of some sort

it really depends on how all your recording stuff is set up

If Audacity is the work of the devil then why do all my black metal songs sound like **** through it!
