Hey, I want to spray a stencil on the body of my strat, probably of a face and perhaps a quote. Failing this, I was thinking of having a few figures, maybe stick men or mice or something that will be 'on' my guitar. By which I mean, for example, one would painted to look as though it's hanging off the bridge or hiding near the input and the various figures will know the other is there. I am after unique ideas as to what and where to paint and any warnings i should take note of. The pictures below are just a few examples, an image search of street art by "banksy" might give you a better indication though. Thanks.

Haha, I start thinking of Banksy and stick figures for my guitar, and so does the rest of the world?
Might wanna make it look like a revolution battleground. Like, make the pickups a flipped car on fire and have a guy hiding behind it, throwing a molotov. That requires a lot of skill and time though...

Lol man, great minds think alike. Thats a pretty cool idea^, I was also thinking of having them in like a 3 segment comic strip, and in the third one they break the wall of the strip or something and fall out onto parts of the guitar. Kind of like the original idea but with a bit of a background story and with that battleground theme to it too.

Alright sorry for the wait. Ok, here they are for all to see. If you use one, you have to copy that sign at the very bottom somewhere onto the guitar, can be on the back. These are sketches, so dont go attacking me about their quality. Most were done while listening to music and doing classwork. Short descriptions included in case you cant quite tell what is going on.

That is of guys taking cover behind a car, one sticking his head up, and getting it blown off.

My personal favorite. Self-explanatory.

Guy with gas can, guy nailed to brick wall, guy with lighter. Huzzah!

Rifle/pistol/smg shots.
Shotgun shell to shoulder.

Sledgehammer to face, knocking guy over backwards. Instinctive firing of gun.

Brick to da FACE!

Execution style

Soldier post-molotov hit.

Molotov throwing with bandanna on face.

THE SYMBOL THAT YOU MUST USE IF YOU USE ONE OF THESE!

those sketches (obviously touched up) would be VERY cool on a guitar.

I think you shoul talk to someone about these thoughts you're having.

If you put that on a guitar and play a gig, you'll get committed.

Oh, you funny guys. Until I do it, I'm ok...I don't play violent video games, so this is my way. Plus, its a good way to practice anatomy.

I know what you mean. I do play violent video games, but I remember in elementary school I got sent to the office for drawing anatomically correct drawings of organs. The only reason was that I wanted to be a doctor at the time, and I got a book on anatomical drawing for Christmas. I guess they wanted me to get therapy or something. It happened a lot.

Personally, I'd sooner go with a Stormtrooper helmet on my guitar, below the bridge. Just a suggestion. Other than that, sledgehammer to the face is my favorite, but you need to work on the splatter. Don't forget skull fractures and projected bone fragments. Faces don't "squish," they "crack."
Sincerely, Chad.

Thanks for understanding. That was actually a second sketch based off another one that was too gritty and "sketch"y to use, that had adequate splatter. This was a less inspired version, but the structures of each of the guys is significantly better.
This was all over a year ago though, so I've improved greatly...I should probably redo these.

This is horrifying!

The sketches are awesome! I LOVE IT. I really like the idea of people takin' cover behind the pick ups and stuff, but make it really good if you do it, please.

Wow, those are very... disturbing.

Although I did like the post Molotov one.
