I know that this thread probably is around already.... but whatever. I want to buy a new guitar, and i was wondering what is the cheapest and best les paul, knock-off?

I know that my amp sucks... i already have that taken care of.

Thanks

try and go for an Agile les paul. You will get many recommendations for these. I have one and they are amazing. I would go for an al-3000 or higher. These will give you the biggest bang for your buck.

As you're in the US, Agile are supposed to be amazing. However, you'd get better answers if you gave us a budget.

Schecter C-1 Hellraiser
Ibanez GRG170DX

Now I'm confused. But I'm just asking the TS for a more specific budget.

EDIT: Which we now have. Looks like Agile is going to be your best option, unless you can buy guitars made by Vintage over there, they are awesome quality for really low prices, but they're a pretty small English company, so I dunno about the availability of them in the US.

japanese copies, probably, but whether they're worth it in the USA is debatable...
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

If you wanted a cheap Les Paul, i'd suggest the brand name "Raven". . . I'm not to familiar with the brand name but I seen a Les paul with that brand name at my local music store for less then 300$.
