i was learning kryptonite by 3 doors down. and i really liked the chord progression so i started tinkering with it.

e|2-3-3-0|2-3-2-0|
B|3-2-0-0|3-2-3-0|
G|4-4-0-2|4-4-2-0|
D|4-4-0-2|4-4-0-2|
A|2-2-2-0|2-2----2|
E|-----3---|----------|

my main problem is that i dont even know the names of some of the chords im using.
i would like to delve into that progression and maybe come up with a song or something. but i just cant find a key to make it work

please any help appreciated

Bm, G, Asus2, D, Em are the chords
and it could be in the key of G or the key of D.

its in the key of F#

what?
no its not

EDIT: you edited it.
it could be considered B minor, but not B, and definately not F#.

yeah, i was thinking E type barre chords by accident. also, where are you getting Asus2?

the cord after the G is an Asus2 because instead of using the chord formula 1-3-5 it is 1-2-5
#7
so i guess my options are to try it out using some bminor G and D licks and seeing which one sounds good with it?

and thanks for the chords looking at them now they make sense. i had Bm figured out but its the chord beside Bm i cant get.

yeah my fault.
i just looked closer at the tab and i realized the first two "Bm's" were actually different chords.
the first one is Bm, and the second one looks like Bsus2add6, like everyone here said.
