I got a Jackson Warrior XT and apart from it's exaggerated shape it plays really well, it's an extremely underrated guitar.

But the RR models are really good as well

Budget? What do you play? Do you need a trem? Where are you from? Can you go second hand?

So vague man. So vague.

Kelly all the way. If you're going JS series, they aren't as bad people say. My buddy has one and it sounds pretty good and plays nice.

Lol. Why not go all out and suggest a KE2 instead?

To TS: Are there any shapes you're interested in?

I don't think the JS series is poor, but the price difference to step up to a Pro series isn't too horrendous, and well worth it for the quality, imo.

My dinky pro is a superb guitar, I did consider the JS, but I think now that I made the right decision to make that step up.

i lookin for more of a warrior shape but not as extreme

Something like a Kelly or a V then?

You seem to be basing your choice too much on shape...

Quality > image.

get a RR or Dinky or KingV .......

n do look up ESP n Schecter before buying ....u can get harcore setup in less than 700$.... lik EMG HZ + Floyd Rose +24frets ...etc

Once again a Kelly. You'll look badass, and sound even better. Just get one with a black trem, the chrome ones aren't as good. The black trems are as close to an OFR as you can get.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
