A simple question, what is the stock Peghole diameter for a Squier Standard Stratocaster. To aid my tuning problems i want to fit some new locking tuners and i don't know if i'd have to drill out my pegholes. The previous owner changed the tuners, but i've a feeling that he used substandard tuners as they appear unbranded and the locking system definitely doesn't work.

I've been looking at Wilkinson Locking Tuners are they any good? Or should i look at perhaps some Gotoh or Sperzel options?

Thankyou

Mine are 10mm - I've no idea if they ever vary though. Sperzels fit exactly and I would recommend them most highly.

I'd recommend it - your Squier is a lot older than mine if it's the one in your sig!!

Yeah it is the one in my sig, it absolutely kills for sound and playability just onstage it's tuning stability is dire.
