Flea & Fruiciante (sp?) studied at some big shot music university, but it was after they were already famous.

Like classically trained? Because if you mean just lessons I'm guessing most guitarists have.

chris broderick went to GIT or something, he teaches there occasionally now.

paul gilbert (GIT), randy rhoads (technically, he sought out classical teachers in every town he visited and was going to get a degree in classical guitar so i guess that counts), steve vai (Berklee) and probably a ****load more that i can't think of off the top of my head.

talent =/= fame


infact they are often polar opposites. he is an ok guitarist but very very sloppy
