....if i don't want scratches to show up as easily? I hate looking at guitars with scratches on them. Hope you can help me My current guitar has a satin black finish.

My sunburst Les Paul shows very little wear on the face, cream seems to have the same effect.

anything matte wont show finger prints or scratches but there's not a lot of matte colors. i got a matte black bass i wash it only to get the dust from around the hardware and its scratched to **** but u cant tell unless your examining it
