Yeah it seems to run smoother

Is there an ad-blocker for it yet? Also, a version of FlashGot?

Thats pretty much what keeps me with Firefox

Only thing is that every time I download something, like a torrent file, I can't just run it with Chrome, I have to save it, so i get a load of torrent files building up on my computer

it's very fast and streamlined, but I'm so used to having a lot of plugins for firefox that Chrome seems very limited in terms of functionality. I'm sure it's great for a lot of people though.

you have to save torrent files anyway, the only difference is that when you open them from firefox your torrent client saves it to a different folder.

Opera is best generally but i prefer Firefox because it's easier to customise, and i've got all my bookmarks on it and stuff

IE is just terrible.

AdBlocker plus most likely, but if you are getting a lot of popups with firefox you probably have spyware.

i use chrome, but the only bad point is that downloads go into a download folder, not the C: drive, but ye it's a lot faster than IE and firefox, (for me anyways)

I agree. I like the main page with the most visited thing, as well as the address bar doubling as a search bar of your choice.
#24
I like the layout, and it's quick. Only thing I don't like is sometimes **** just doesn't work and I have to load up Firefox, but that's pretty rare for me so.
#25
I hate Chrome. Its one of the slowest browsers out there. Go Firefox! Or Opera. But Chrome, naah.
#27
I started using it after a brief venture onto Firefox. Chrome is generally quicker from my experience, and it doesn't slow my PC down as much as firefox, despite the memory usage apparently saying otherwise.

Definitely, considering how likely it is that in 5 years or so Google will basically OWN the internet lol

I get no pop ups what so ever with chrome, not a single one. And it's fast as hell. And I thought that Chrome used less memory than firefox, meh, whatever. The best part is that when you've got several flikar (can't remember the english word at the moment, you know the thing that firefox was famous for when it came, the substitute for windows) they don't run slower, cause' they all take their own ram.

I use Adblock Plus; you can find it here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

It's more for getting rid of ads that are on a web page rather than pop-ups, it increases loading speed though which is nice

IE8>IE7. Get it.

And Chrome is spectacular. Much better than IE, and I'm 90% sure it's more memory efficient than Firefox.

Only slightly. I looked up some performance tests. Both FF and Chrome whopped IE8's ass, but the difference between the two was negligible.
