i just found about about this crazy sound.
it probably won't be that useful but it u want a crazy chirping sound, and u wanna be like tom morello (without copying exactly what he does) check this out.

all you gotta do is plug your guitar into the output of your wah pedal and plug your other pedals/other wire into the input of your guitar.

so basically your chain should go:

guitar-cable into wah output-cable from wah's input into amp/other pedals-amp

then you just click on the wah, and find the right position and you'll get a chirping sound.
you can change the pitch using your tone knobs, volume knobs, and pickup selector, these all affect the tone.

pretty crazy.

heres the vid that i found out about this fromhe uses a digitech whammy pedal to change the pitch)

and this is the guy's explaination/demonstration of how he did it:

what do you guys think?
try it!

the guy's solo in the video is sick and your sound might not be as good...i tried it with mine and it was alright but you gotta mess with controls to change the sound and make it interseting...
just plug into the wrong ends of your wah pedal!

Yep, he used it on "Echoes" to make the seagull sound effects.
