so this guy at guitar center gave me a cloth that he said i could use to clean my guitar. after looking at it i noticed it is a "treated cloth" for strings made by GHS. i'm assuming it has some chemical or something (hence the treated) and i was wondering if it would be harmful to the guitar if i wiped the quilted maple top, fret board, and emg pickups with it.
"Treated" usually means it has a cleaning agent added (I'm assuming its polish). maybe try testing it in a spot where it wont be seen?
thanks. thats a good idea. just got the guitar and don't wanna go ruin it right off the bat. haha
