VH1 declared Creed's "Higher" something like #35 on the list of the worst "metal" songs ever. Here they list it at #95 as one of the greatest hard rock songs.

Vh1 lists = mega fail.

I think by hard rock they meant anything from classic rock to heavy metal. it would be a lot different if it was exclusively hard rock

But they're three different genres, so why put them together? I can understand Led Zeppelin being there because they can be classified as hard rock or classic rock, but why Iron Maiden or Nirvana? They are metal and grunge, completely different from hard rock.

I caught 40-60 of the list, and they went in depth into each song. It was pretty neat.

Dude, Nirvana is the heaviest rock of all time. Fact.

Every time a list like this is released, there is a thread like this to accompany it. The conclusion in every single one is that these lists are opinion, something that is never wrong or right. Use your time and opinions in an intelligent discussion that hasn't happened several times.

They're a lot heavier than whatever crap you listen to, like Cannibal Corpse. Untalented hacks.

I don't listen to cannibal corspe, or anything like them.
I am a Nirvana fan.
But they are not that heavy, really.
I'm sure they're hard rock enough to make the list, but they are not the heaviest rock of all time.
