C4C.
the main riff is '60src' on my profile
some of the lines were taken from a song that i don't like anymore i thought they fitted well here.
EDIT: this isnt meant to be a kind of 'super-serious' song just what people may do if they could do anything. ( i dunno if that comes across in the piece though )
Learn To Fight

(3/4 time)
Admitting defeat is something that we don't do well,
We try everything to avoid it
Your authority is just another thing we don't respect,
We'll try everything to destroy it
On the brink of collapse from your regeime,
We gather arms and head for you

Here we go!
Another revolution
Time to fire the shot that will bring you down

Peaceful protests fail again
Violent means reign 'till the end
Marching towards you with a heart shaped fist
Pounding in my chest
Pitchforks raised to the sky
Burning torches will light the way

(4/4 time)

The shadows at you feet come alive
Your loyal subjects see the hate in your eyes,
Busy themselves finding a gun
For everybody who can hold one,
Never mind who can fire one

We don't learn to run
We learn to fight
No more surrendering
We don't obey
We do what we like
Rebellion is everything
We don't learn to run
We learn to fight
No more admitting defeat
We don't obey
We do what we think's right
Follow our own instincts

A half completed revolution
Half way there,
We see the end in sight
Reality hits hard,
Even you cannot deny
You're at the edge of the cliff
About to fall from power

[Chorus]

We don't learn to run
We learn to fight
We don't learn to run
We learn to fight

end with a simple guitar solo

The Bible is awesome. Revelation is so badass, I mean, dragons and angels and the devil having an epic battle in the clouds? Badass.

the last line didn't really do anything for me, but I can't imagine the piece without it. Maybe we gather arms and head for you on one line? or change the and to soemthing else... as maybe. I like the repeate of 'we try everything' and 'we'll try everything', its cool. Solid stanza I guess.

Nothing really to say about this, its a good bridge - esque type thing, prechorusy kind of. I like it.

The lines in green I dont really care for, but I cant think of anything to replace them with right now. Maybe I'll get back at this later.

I like this a lot.

We don't learn to run
We learn to fight

We don't obey
We do what we like
But we have to fend for ourselves
We don't learn to run
We learn to fight
No more admitting defeat
We don't obey
We do what we think's right
And live with the consequences

THe but we have to... feels run on to me for some reason. Same with 'and live with the consequences'. I think the line ' you're at the edge of the cliff'the line it would sound better if it was 'that you're at the edge of the cliff.' Dont really have anything else to say, good post.

btw, you have good stuff on your profile
