Steven Wright, no question.

Brian Regan also makes me laugh my ass off. He's insanely good at making himself look like an idiot, even though he has some really intelligent jokes.

Jimmy Carr is the best, followed by...Demetri Martin, Paul Merton, Dara O'Briain, Frankie Boyle, Tim Minchin and Hugh Dennis.... I like comedy

I love dylan moran, ed byrne and dara o'brien. Basically any irish comedian!

Bill Bailey is also one of my favourites, though Tinselworm is just average.

I'm big on Mitch Hedberg, Emo Philips, and of course Carlin.
But fvck Dane Cook, seriously.
And while the Chappelle show may not have been too great, Dave Chappelle's stand up is absolutely brilliant.

Quite a few but I'll stick with Bill Bailey and Lee Evans, because I've always liked them.

+1, great sense of surreal humor.

I only discovered Frankie Boyle a year or two back thanks to Mock the Week, but he's definintely my favourite comedian. Which is absolutely amazing, since I think most 'comedians' believe they're God's gift to comedy and are stuck right up their own arses.

Lee Evans is a great example of a non-comedian.

Gotta be Bill Hicks, by a long way.

Everyone always compares him with Carlin, Hicks was better than him in nearly every way, I believe. Carlin just seemed like a bitter old man, completely nihilistic, but there was always a light of hope inside Bill's angriest stuff.

yea man, who ever doesnt like pantera or think they suck doesnt like metal, end of discussion, they changed the freakin world n made history, so don't be sayin they suck, have respect, same goes for machine head n lamb of god cuz their good too

I like Mike Birbiglia, Lenny Clarke, and Ron White.

MY BIG 3!!!
They credited us with the birth of that sort of heavy metal thing. Well, if that's the case, there should be an immediate abortion.

I don't get why people find lee evans funny, he is probably my least favourite comedian. also, whilst i find jimmy carr funny i don't really like his stand up.
i do however like Chris Rock, dara o'briain, ed byrne, dave chapelle and dylan moran.
