im probably going to buy a boss blues driver off of ebay because i can find it super cheap, and i may have enough to get another pedal, im looking at the boss sd-1 super overdrive and im curious, would it be worth the money to buy both. i have my mind made up on the blues driver but would i be throwing away money going for the sd-1? are the two similar? does the combination sound good? would using the sd-1 as a boost and maybe adding a little more oomph to the bd-2's overdrive work? i play a lot of crunchy, gritty blues, and stoner metal.

The boss demos have been eq'ed and they don't tell you what amp they're using. They're not a realistic indicator of what the pedal actually sounds like.

Personally I don't see the point in buying both.

I mean I can understand buying both, persay when soloing adding the extra distortion, or at least that's how I see is as a metal player

so i would only use that two on certain occasions, i knew the two were similar, i probably wont get my money's worth out of the sd-1. cool
